NextPitch Affiliates are educators and trainers with experience in one or more of our core environments: K–12, higher education, and corporate learning. Affiliates play a key role in expanding real-world learning and fostering engagement across their communities.

Active educators with a NextPitch Educator ID are automatically pre-approved because they are already employed by approved education providers.

Individuals who are not currently employed by an approved education provider may still apply; the NextPitch team will complete an additional verification before approval. The additional verification helps ensure that all Affiliates uphold the safe, community-centered learning environment NextPitch is known for. NextPitch is intentional about building community among educators and maintaining a safe learning environment. Verification ensures that everyone representing the platform meets standards aligned with K–12, higher education, and workforce learning environments.

Yes. Once your application is approved, you’ll gain free access to our NextPitch Affiliate Academy, including certifications in engagement strategies, community outreach, platform features, and implementation. Many certifications are eligible for professional development points in K–12 and higher education settings.
Community Rewards are rewards earned when a referred educator, school, or organization purchases a subscription using your referral link or Educator ID.
You may choose cash or classroom support. Both hold the same value.
No threshold is required. Rewards are issued after each completed subscription.
Every educator’s situation is unique. That’s why Community Rewards can be received as cash or as classroom support. If your employer restricts cash incentives, you can still participate fully by choosing classroom resources instead.

Yes. You may list yourself as an official NextPitch Affiliate on your website, LinkedIn, or social platforms once you complete the onboarding steps and any required Affiliate Academy certifications.
Yes. If you’re presenting NextPitch to educators or community partners, they can enter your Educator ID at checkout. This ensures your referral is credited even without using your digital link.
Affiliates may receive referrals based on their experience, audience, region, and activity. High-performing affiliates may also be featured in our directory, included in outreach opportunities, or invited to special engagement campaigns.
Yes. Affiliates who demonstrate high engagement may be invited to co-host events, participate in educator workshops, join cross-community campaigns, or collaborate on local innovation initiatives. Opportunities vary by K–12, higher education, and corporate tracks.
Affiliates receive access to promotional assets, educator outreach templates, training materials, and messaging guides. You’ll also have access to our Affiliate dashboard to track your referrals and Community Rewards.
Yes. Affiliates may inform colleagues and partners about the program and encourage them to apply. Community Rewards are only issued for subscription referrals, not for recruiting other affiliates directly.
Yes. Affiliates who demonstrate strong outreach may qualify for additional opportunities such as recognition badges, directory placement, event co-hosting, and enhanced training resources. Performance tiers are achievement-based and optional.
Yes. Affiliates may choose to gift their Community Rewards to another educator, a school program, or directly toward sponsoring student pitch entries. This option is especially helpful for retired educators or individuals who prefer to support classrooms rather than receive Rewards themselves.
Many Affiliates are retired teachers, mentors, or community leaders with income restrictions. To ensure everyone can participate, you may choose to gift your Community Rewards to classrooms, educators, or student competitions. Gifting maintains full program participation without affecting personal income limits.

Yes. Affiliates can join NextPitch from anywhere in the world. While NextPitch is headquartered in Kansas City, our community is global, and we welcome educators, institutions, and innovators from every region.
NextPitch works closely with Affiliates to ensure the Community Rewards process meets all regulations for both the United States—where our headquarters is located in Kansas City—and your local community. We adapt the Reward format (cash, classroom support, or gifting) to remain compliant wherever you are.
It may. If an Affiliate is located in a region that is new to our program, additional time may be needed to confirm compliance between Kansas City–based requirements and local guidelines. This ensures every Affiliate can participate safely and confidently.
Yes, when permitted by local regulations. Affiliates outside the United States may choose cash or classroom support. If local rules limit certain types of Rewards, our Kansas City–based team will work with you to identify the best compliant option, including gifting your Rewards to educators or competitions.
In most cases, yes. Affiliates around the world can gift their Rewards to classrooms, educators, or pitch competitions. Our team in Kansas City will coordinate with you to ensure the gifting process aligns with your local community’s guidelines.
