Welcome to the SMSD Student Chamber's Business Showcase! This is an inspiring business competition designed to highlight PK-12 students who run REAL businesses in the Shawnee Mission School District. The top five business owners with the most votes and highest judge ratings will present their business ideas to a panel of esteemed judges and a vibrant audience on April 30.
Awards at the live April 30 Business Showcase are:
1st Place: $1,100
2nd Place: $600
3rd Place: $300

Fruteria Alcaya is a family business that has been going on for about 6 years. I am wanting to keep the business going and make it go bigger.
Problème
People don't have a big variety of drinks in the summer to stay hydrated.
Solution
We offer a big variety of drink options, the drinks are very nutritious and affordable. Our drinks are fresh and cheaper than anyone else.

Our customers are loyal, they come very often!!
Impact sociétal
I will use my funds to go and help out those that really need it. I will put some gloves, hats, and some blankets out for the homeless to stay warm.

Nos écoles et districts
Fruteria Alcaya would love to get the opportunity to win the competition, I think that it would be a blessing if we won. Our business would be even more popular.
Utilisation des contributions des contributeurs
If I was to have money leftover I would put it to help me get a car, I have been working a lot recently and have been trying to save up money for a car.
