The problem is lack of awareness of and utilization of Community America Credit Union’s Hickman Mills Community Access Center. Our goal is to raise awareness of the Access Center as a hub and to offer services that will lift up the community. Our solution is to expand the Center to include after-school programing, financial education, child care and a fitness facility. To increase awareness, we will host an annual event that celebrates and promotes the Center’s expanded services. Our main audience is Community America’s members and nonmembers that live within the Hickman Mills and Ruskin Heights area. Next steps are to partner with existing community organizations, plan the main event and raise awareness, and possibly acquire another building for expanded services.
