Welcome to the SMSD Student Chamber's Business Showcase! This is an inspiring business competition designed to highlight PK-12 students who run REAL businesses in the Shawnee Mission School District. The top five business owners with the most votes and highest judge ratings will present their business ideas to a panel of esteemed judges and a vibrant audience on April 30.
Awards at the live April 30 Business Showcase are:
1st Place: $1,100
2nd Place: $600
3rd Place: $300
Students are challenged to answer the following questions with their pitch:
Part 1: Describe the problem and products/services that you are selling (including pricing).
Part 2: Describe your target market.
Part 3: Customer Reach/Channels
Part 4: Competition and what makes you different?

À propos de nous
I come from a Mexican family where food, culture, and tradition are very important in our lives. My family has always dreamed of owning a restaurant to share authentic Mexican food and our culture with the community. After I finish college, I plan to work hard to make this dream a reality and open a restaurant for my family.
