Overview
About
We are 8th grade students who want to make a change in our community! We have seen first hand the harm our environment can have on the homeless community. We want to provide resources in the form of items and education to help them be more successful.
Part 1:
The homeless community is growing in Arizona due to the increase of prices and lack of affordable housing. We do not have the resources to help those who need it most.
Part 2:
We would like to put together food and toiletries bag with information on local shelters and educational pamphlets to provide them with information to help them get out of their current situation.
Part 3:
Fellow members over our state who want to help our homeless community.
Part 4:
We hope this helps our community by providing information for a way out of their current circumstances which in turn can help fill jobs in our community.
Next Steps
We are going to gather local resources that our homeless community can visit for more help and provide them with basic necessities to make sure they are fed and can start getting the things they need to build a better path.
Other Information
It was a struggle to find useable resources to put on our flyers because Arizona does not have a lot in terms of places to benefit our homeless community.
