Competition Brief

ProX is a Real World Learning initiative providing summer professional experiences for high school students.

About

LEC is a nonprofit organization that works tirelessly to retain and increase the representation of Latinx education professionals in K-12. Our vision is to build a world where Latinx educators are abundant and thriving.

Problem

We often have donors who give a one-time gift, but we need to create a deeper relationship so they continue to give and support the LEC.

Solution

To retain the donors we already have by making them feel like part of the LEC family.

Audience | Target Market

LatinX people in the Kansas City area.

Learning Outcomes  |  Community Impact

The LEC will grow and extend our programming.

Next Steps

We would need startup money to get the materials indicated in the video. We feel that, with some event planning, etc. we will be able to get the word out about the LEC and find/retain more donors.

 Innovators  |  Partners

I have been able to see how fundraising works.

Resource  |  Support Needs

We will use the money to host events and other methods of keeping in touch with donors.

Hello! I love your idea. I know young people love cotton candy and to make a product that caters to children with allergies but still allows them to enjoy a sweet treat is fun, innovative and demonstrates and amazing level of creativity and empathy. Please keep up the amazing work.
