Welcome to the SMSD Student Chamber's Business Showcase! This is an inspiring business competition designed to highlight PK-12 students who run REAL businesses in the Shawnee Mission School District. The top five business owners with the most votes and highest judge ratings will present their business ideas to a panel of esteemed judges and a vibrant audience on April 30.
Awards at the live April 30 Business Showcase are:
1st Place: $1,100
2nd Place: $600
3rd Place: $300

My name is Oskar Moes and I own Moes Mows Lawn Care. I am a sophomore at Shawnee Mission South. I work mainly around Overland Park. You can find me on Instagram, facebook, or through my website.

The problem we solve here at Moes Mows Lawn Care is that some people don’t have the time, are physically unable, or just simply don’t want to do or worry about their lawn.

My target market is homeowners who live in Overland Park, Prairie Village, Leawood. Especially the elderly or disabled who are unable to maintain their lawn, and busy homeowners who don't have the time but they still want their yard to look good.
