Overview

Note: This content is from a Beta test competition. Pitch submissions are real but tokens and contribution data are not included.

Enterprise and Design is a program where students get regular high school credits but are earning it through client connected projects. We match them with industry professionals (clients) and they work with teams to complete real world projects with actual problems that those clients need to have solved and they come up with solutions and pitch those ideas.

About

Our group is working with Ashley Stanley at Wayside Waifs to encourage more people to join as volunteers at their shelter.

Part 1:

The problem is Wayside Waifs does not have enough volunteers to help walk the dogs in the shelter. They need more young adults to volunteer so they stay connected longer term.

Part 2:

Our solution is to have a club sponsored training event at Wayside to take students to the shelter to be trained as volunteers.

Part 3:

High school juniors and seniors

Part 4:

Next Steps

Our next steps include reaching out to the student population to create interest in this event.
