Competition Brief

ProX is a Real World Learning initiative providing summer professional experiences for high school students.

About

Our employer is the KC Royals. The Royals are a MLB team located in Missouri. The Royals provide entertainment to our community through the baseball games.

Problem

How might we get Gen Z (teenagers) to come out to the Royals games?

Solution

We created a scavenger hunt that tours the different attractions around the stadium. We also created a meal card that is a prize after the scavenger hunt. It would include a boba tea from Dragon Fly Teazone. We also created "Did you know?" instagram posts about the history of the Royals and different attractions around the stadium.

Audience | Target Market

Our target market is Gen Z and social seekers. Our primary target for the project is Gen Z (teenagers).

Learning Outcomes  |  Community Impact

Our solution would bring Gen Z to the games. Offering new activities around the stadium brings in a new generation of audience.

Next Steps

The next step would be contacting Dragonfly Teazone about offering boba at the stadium. We also we need to start developing an app or QR system.

 Reflection  |  Other Info

We learned how to collaborate on ideas and build off of each other. We also learned better communication skills within our group.

Resource  |  Support Needs

We are not currently accepting contributions from our voters. This pitch is part of the ProX competition for $5,000. We would use the money to develop the scavenger hunt app and to get Dragonfly Teazone at the stadium.

Thank you for sharing your pitch, "John James." I appreciate your enthusiasm and passion for dogs, as well as your creative approach to promoting them. Your idea of using videos and social media to highlight the positive aspects of having dogs is a strong strategy, and it's clear you have a good understanding of your target audience. To enhance your pitch, consider focusing on how you can present a balanced view that celebrates dogs without comparing them negatively to other animals. This approach might help you reach an even wider audience who appreciate all pets. Additionally, think about how you could use storytelling to capture the unique qualities of dogs that have personally impacted your life. Keep up the great work, and continue sharing your love for dogs with the world!

Cats are amazing animals! Next time, try and edit the "um"'s and "uh"s out to make the video flow a little smoother. Great job!
