About
Our team is working with Chris Chapman a member of the Peculiar Chamber of Commerce. She has come up with a yearly event called the Peculiar Community fair event. Its an opportunity for the residents of Peculiar to come together, and learn more about their town.
Problem
Our problem is getting the community to come together, especially after Covid-19. The first event in 2023 was a huge success. Although we are trying to get more residents to come out to the event.
Solution
The solution we came up with to get more residents interested in the event is by creating a raffle basket. The basket will be filled with different goods from vendors at the event. Although the only way one can enter into the raffle is by visiting vendors and getting their booth marked off on their card. This gives people a chance to also have to have a conversation with each vendor.

Next Steps
Our next steps include finding the right vendors for the event and vendors that are willing to participate in providing items for the basket.
Reflection | Other Info
When creating our pitch we feel as if a lot of things went well. We were able to work together and come up with a great idea to get the community involved and give them a chance to win free prizes. A struggle for us is not knowing how residents will react to participating in the raffle.

You've identified an important gap in weather knowledge and proposed a way to make information more accessible. Here are a few thoughts on your responses to help you refine your pitch:
1. Your personal passion for weather really shines through in your first response. Consider expanding on how your interest can engage and educate others.

3. When discussing "Weather information," think about what makes your approach unique. How will your information be presented in a way that's both informative and engaging?
4. The mention of "Weather people" is intriguing. Perhaps you could elaborate on how these individuals will contribute to your project and why they're essential.
5. Transforming your audience into "Informed people" is a wonderful goal. Consider outlining the specific benefits they will gain from understanding weather better.
6. Your idea about helping people "Get supplies" is practical and valuable. You might want to explain how you plan to guide them in acquiring the right resources.
7. Your positive attitude in response to "All is great" is refreshing. Keep that enthusiasm as you continue refining your ideas!
