Competition Brief

ProX is a Real World Learning initiative providing summer professional experiences for high school students.

About

The Hearland Black Chamber of Commerce helps grow small black businesses. They invite you to job fairs and events that help give you exsposure.

Problem

The problem is the need for promoting through social media to connect with businesses that need their support.

Solution

The solution would be a QR code placed in places and social media calendar that automatically makes post for the Chamber.

Audience | Target Market

The main people affected by this problem are black businesses because we are the minority and we don't have the same opportunities.

Learning Outcomes  |  Community Impact

Our solution would be an asset because social media can be a challenge.

Next Steps

The next steps would be to create the calendar and apply it to social media handles.

 Innovators  |  Partners

This experience has impacted me because I know that black businesses don't get the same opportunities as everyone else.

Resource  |  Support Needs

We are not currently accepting contributions from our voters. This pitch is part of the ProX competition for $5,000. The funding will be used to make the calendar accessible to everyone.

Hello! I love your idea. I know young people love cotton candy and to make a product that caters to children with allergies but still allows them to enjoy a sweet treat is fun, innovative and demonstrates and amazing level of creativity and empathy. Please keep up the amazing work.
