Competition Brief

ProX is a Real World Learning initiative providing summer professional experiences for high school students.

About

Neal Sharma is one of the biggest business leaders in Kansas City. Neal Sharma is always looking for new problems to solve for our community.

Problem

Rideshare companies, such as Uber and Lyft, are very well known, but the drivers are not paid very well. We were challenged to create a new business model to save rideshare drivers money.

Solution

We have a business model that allows drivers to use company-owned vehicles to commute customers (the riders). With our system, drivers will make more money with us and have a better experience.

Audience | Target Market

We target part-time workers who want to make extra money for things such as helping out with bills, expenses, or spending money.

Learning Outcomes  |  Community Impact

With our business model, the drivers will have less depreciation on their vehicle; allowing the drivers to make extra money without the consequences. We will enhance our riders' experience with our company vehicles.

Next Steps

We will give all of our information to Mr. Sharma so he can continue the idea and handle next steps in the making.

 Reflection  |  Other Info

The internship was primarily virtual, so I have learned how to communicate and manage my team so we can reach our end goal with a good result.

Resource  |  Support Needs

We are not currently accepting contributions from our voters. This pitch is part of the ProX competition for $5,000. We are not asking for money. If we were to start the business, the money would be going directly into app development and marketing.

This was a fantastic pitch! You showed how informed you are about the market space you are entering by understanding and adding in the gamification that comes with your mascot.

Your video is grate and shows how much work you have put in to a Cotten candy business! I did get lost when reading the written submission as it covers skin care products and not cotton candy. This discrepancy made the pitch unclear but a simple update and clarification would get you back on track in no time.
