About

Im Theorizing a business idea about swim training for individuals looking to be strong competitive swimmers, through being taught by a former professional swimmer (me once I'm like 26 so launching 2035 per say). Trying to help swimmers on their journey whatever it is. But it is just theoretical, and I'm not sure if this is a path I want to take, so any sort of funding gained for this would be put towards college scholarship money and not an actual business. I have a lot of passion for swimming and am looking to at least become a strong D1 NCAA Swimmer in college.

Part 1:

People don't get enough individualized attention most of the time if they're in a competitive swim team. Im selling/offering personalized swim training to aspiring swimmers or those who desire individualized coaching to reach their full potential through fully personalized workouts and exercises.

(Financial Forecast)

one person 2-5 people sized class 6-12 people sized class 13-40 people sized class
1 day $62.82 $27.91 $21.11 $20.47
3 days $188.47 $83.73 $63.33 $61.41
1 week $439.77 $195.37 $147.77 $143.30

Part 2:

Target market:
The primary costumers are Aspiring Swimmers not already on a swim team or group, while there may also be aspiring swimmers who are not currently swimming for a team or at all. Usually ages 13-26, living in Kansas City area.

Part 3:

Customer Reach/ Channels
I will reach them through word of mouth, pop up flag advertisments at swim events, emails, social media, and flyers similar to the pop up flags. They would choose to purchase my product because it provides more than just your normal swim team through the use individualized swim workouts, and excercises. I will deliver it through online messages, and in person training.

Part 4:

Competition and Differentiation
Swim Clubs like: KC Blazers, Empire KC, COOL Swim Team, Kansas City Swim Academy, and AquaHawks Swim Academy are my main competitors seeing that they provide professional level coaching to swimmers all around the Kansas and Missouri area.
The difference between my business and the big mainstream swim clubs in Kansas, is that its hard to copy the individualized training that I would provide for swimmers, specifically tailored towards their level of capabilty, technique, attitude, and knowledge.

Next Steps

I'd say in regards to college scholarship money being the "funding". The support I'd like would most likely just maybe be connections/ways to contact different colleges to see what standards/requirements/vibes are at different places and hopefully make my decision on where I'm going a little bit more certain/easier.
