ProX is a Real World Learning initiative providing summer professional experiences for high school students.
About
The problem for Jackson County's Park and Recreation site are animals such as Coyotes and Geese and the harm that they cause the community such as eating other animals, are difficult to get rid of, and the fecal matter they leave behind. Our solution includes legal trapping of coyotes and round up hunting of geese. Our main audience the public community who occupy the parks and recreation sites. We want the community to feel safe and enjoy the public outdoors without the bother of those two animals. The next steps needed would be hiring more parks and recreation employees to round up and monitor animal exposure.
