About
The 79Roze Dress Shop has one location in Olathe but otherwise consists of an online shopping site. It sells clothes designed specifically for curvy women.
Problem
The problem is that not many customers are aware of the business existing because of it being small and newer. The limited awareness impacts the number of products bought and the expansion of the business as a whole.
Solution
The solution includes a social media redesign, a promotion contest, and an email newsletter. These would all raise awareness of the business existing as a whole and draw more customers to it so more purchases are made.
Audience | Target Market
The main people impacted by the problem are the customers that are not aware of the shop existing and have a hard time finding trendy clothes that they like. The other person impacted by the problem is the owner of 79Roze who cannot get word of her business out there.
Learning Outcomes | Community Impact
The value my solution would bring to users now and in the future is one of awareness of a business that makes women feel confident and beautiful no matter their body type and gives them more clothing options.
Next Steps
The next steps needed would be to boost awareness of the contests through bigger businesses and branding and to ask for funding for the contest to be made a reality.
Reflection | Other Info
This work has made me see the inner workings of a business and everything that is really needed for one to be successful. I met many new people which helped boost my communication skills and innovating to come up with new ideas.
Resource | Support Needs
We are not currently accepting contributions from our voters. This pitch is part of the ProX competition for $5,000. If my idea gets supported I will use the money to get more ads out there and make more people aware of 79Roze and put my contest into effect.

This was a fantastic pitch! You showed how informed you are about the market space you are entering by understanding and adding in the gamification that comes with your mascot.

Your video is grate and shows how much work you have put in to a Cotten candy business! I did get lost when reading the written submission as it covers skin care products and not cotton candy. This discrepancy made the pitch unclear but a simple update and clarification would get you back on track in no time.
