ProX is a Real World Learning initiative providing summer professional experiences for high school students.
About
This summer I interned with Goodwill, and the problem I solved was "How might Goodwill attract younger buyers?" I solved it by suggesting a company TikTok account because over 60% of TikTok's users are between the ages of 12-25, furthermore by suggesting video ideas that might show the younger generation that sustainable fashion is not only to be favored style-wise but also necessary for fighting against global warming. For my next steps I asked ProX for the 5000 dollars to put towards Goodwill's Artemis Institute. Which is a school program in support of those who are recently incarcerated and for those living under the poverty line.
