ProX is a Real World Learning initiative providing summer professional experiences for high school students.
About
The problem is lack of awareness and accessibility to services and resources for inner-city high school students. Our solution involves creating a youth-oriented podcast, called Childhood Outside the Box, and other programming. This program will speak to are youth while remaining true to The Jegna Klub’s company values through digital media. Our main audience is inner-city high school students. The Jegna Klub integrates various educational programs into KC public schools, conducts interviews with community leaders, and teaches youth about broadcasting, marketing, and digital media. The next steps needed are funding and dedicated time.
