ProX is a Real World Learning initiative providing summer professional experiences for high school students.
About
The problem is that in the inner city of kansas city people are dying EVERY SINGLE DAY. There is nobody in the city to care enough to come up with ways to put an end to it, not even the police. Our solution includes an event that represent the community coming together instead of tearing each other apart. We hope to open the city's eyes even more and encourage them to make a change. Our main audience is the community such as teenagers, families of people who lost their family member to violence and maybe people who might be out here creating violence. The value my event would bring to the community is to support each other. The next steps needed would be to decrease the amount of violence or even put an end to it.
