Problem
The problem I aim to tackle is malnutrition which is affecting many poor people.
Solution
By producing eggs for sale on a large scale. Eggs are a good cheap source of protein and this will help local communities.
Audience | Target Market
I aim at helping the poor and needy in society and therefore, they are my main target market but it doesn't end there. I also aim for people of all types in terms of financial stability and income. Many people in zambia buy eggs almost everyday and I think this is a very promising target market.
Learning Outcomes | Community Impact
With successful launch ant implimentation of my project, I would be selling a large quantity of eggs at berry affordable prices for all and as I mentioned, this will help alleviate not only malnutrition but also hunger.
Next Steps
In my pitch, I mention that I have only a few layers and that I need to expand my business. I need a facility (chicken coops and brooders) to house all my poultry and necessities such as chicken feed, feeders, drinkers and more chickens to increase my egg production. All this can be achieved by funding for me to source all required materials locally and successfully expand the business.
Reflection | Other Info
What went well is that it was quite easy to source labor by hiring locals and this helped them by providing them with a job. Raising the chicks is not much of a problem as well because they don't need as much space as the bigger and older chickens. The problems I face are the load shedding schedule we experience here in zambia and this leads to power outages for even up to 2 days and this negativity affects the hatching of the eggs as there is no power to the incubator and in turn completely disturbs the hatching process. This has led to decreases in chick production from time to time. The power outages also affect the chicks as there is need to power the heat lamps in the brooders.

This was a fantastic pitch! You showed how informed you are about the market space you are entering by understanding and adding in the gamification that comes with your mascot.

Your video is grate and shows how much work you have put in to a Cotten candy business! I did get lost when reading the written submission as it covers skin care products and not cotton candy. This discrepancy made the pitch unclear but a simple update and clarification would get you back on track in no time.
