Competition Brief

Enterprise and Design is a program where students get regular high school credits but are earning it through client connected projects. We match them with industry professionals (clients) and they work with teams to complete real world projects with actual problems that those clients need to have solved and they come up with solutions and pitch those ideas.

About

Extroverted Introverts: Peculiar Positivity: Caitlin G, Faith S, Madison T, Andre S

Problem

Our subject matter expert, Mickey Ary, the city administrator of Peculiar, challenged us to make the city of Peculiar's Facebook page more positive

Solution

Our team researched the importance of leaving a positive impact and how we can do that online. For our showcase, we are talking about what we learned from our SME and handing out cookies because everyone likes cookies and that will help spread positivity.

Audience | Target Market

Learning Outcomes  |  Community Impact

Our audience will learn about the advice we gave our SME and will enjoy a cookie!

Next Steps

We need to add more information to our tri-fold and get feedback from our SME.

 Reflection  |  Other Info

Our team made a positive space and worked well together. We struggled with staying on task and have worked to communicate what everyone needs to do.

Resource  |  Support Needs

We only ask that people attend our showcase on June 29 from 9:30-10:30 and 12:00-1:00. Business partners interested in working with our students on future projects, please contact our Director of Community Partnerships, Jake Wingo, at jake.wingo@raypec.org.
