Competition Brief

Enterprise and Design is a program where students get regular high school credits but are earning it through client connected projects. We match them with industry professionals (clients) and they work with teams to complete real world projects with actual problems that those clients need to have solved and they come up with solutions and pitch those ideas.

About

We are the Newsies. Landon Tanner, Connor, Andre and Je’Shan make up our team. We as a team are working with our client, Dennis Minich.

Problem

The problem we are working on is bringing a younger audience to our client's website. We sent out a survey to identify exactly why younger people don’t read the news anymore.

Solution

The solution we came up with was adding a discussion board to his site. We knew that people love to share their ideas, and to be heard. So adding a place for people to do that seemed like the perfect plan for our team.

Next Steps

The next step for the newsies is implementing the template we chose, into his site. We could then customize the discussion board, to fit exactly what our client needs.

 Reflection  |  Other Info

Our ideas for our pitch were great, and Dennis loved them. The only problems we had were during recording. Things like echo and bad audio were our only problems.

Thank you for submitting your pitch titled "rr." I appreciate your effort in completing the assignment. I see that you've provided brief answers to the questions, and I encourage you to expand on your ideas to give a clearer picture of your pitch. For example, you mentioned "students" in response to one question—consider elaborating on how your pitch would benefit them. Additionally, if there are areas where you feel unsure, like in response to Q7, don't hesitate to ask for clarification or guidance. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to seeing how your pitch develops!
