Competition Brief
Enterprise and Design is a program where students get regular high school credits but are earning it through client connected projects. We match them with industry professionals (clients) and they work with teams to complete real world projects with actual problems that those clients need to have solved and they come up with solutions and pitch those ideas.
About
Our team is made up with Austin J.L Noah 18, Amora Dearing 17, Jayden Escobar 17, Riley McCormick 18 and we are the YoungLife FunLife team from Ray-Pec High School.
Problem
Our team's problem was finding Younglife a new building and finding cheap labor and materials.
Solution
We made a 50/50 raffle to raise money to go towards labor and materials for our client.
Audience | Target Market
This will benefit Ray-Pec high school students by giving them a reliable space to grow and have their own space. All the money that we need for this will have to be fundraised or donated by the community.
Learning Outcomes | Community Impact
The impact for our business is that it will help high schools have a place to meet every week. It will also be a place for kids to go to make friends and feel welcome
Next Steps
We need to send out the flyers around our school and community. We also will need help with keeping track of the money and tickets.
Reflection | Other Info
What went well was that we had a lot of fun and got to get to know each other better and got to be creative. What were our struggles were keeping people on task and stay focused and making sure we collaborate and talk in our meetings.

Thank you for sharing your pitch titled "Weather Kiddos." It's great to see your enthusiasm for weather and your desire to help others understand it better. You've identified an important gap in weather knowledge and proposed a way to make information more accessible. Here are a few thoughts on your responses to help you refine your pitch:
1. Your personal passion for weather really shines through in your first response. Consider expanding on how your interest can engage and educate others.
2. You've highlighted a common issue: people often find weather complex or confusing. It might be helpful to explore specific examples of misunderstandings you aim to address.
3. When discussing "Weather information," think about what makes your approach unique. How will your information be presented in a way that's both informative and engaging?
4. The mention of "Weather people" is intriguing. Perhaps you could elaborate on how these individuals will contribute to your project and why they're essential.
5. Transforming your audience into "Informed people" is a wonderful goal. Consider outlining the specific benefits they will gain from understanding weather better.
6. Your idea about helping people "Get supplies" is practical and valuable. You might want to explain how you plan to guide them in acquiring the right resources.
7. Your positive attitude in response to "All is great" is refreshing. Keep that enthusiasm as you continue refining your ideas!
