Competition Brief

ProX is a Real World Learning initiative providing summer professional experiences for high school students.

About

Boys Grow is a Non-Profit Organization that provides mentorship through agriculture, construction and culinary. Boys in our program grow in more ways than one.

Problem

Boys Grow hasn't utilized digital marketing in the past. This year is the first year with our media team. The public isn't as aware of where to find our products as we would want.

Solution

Our team developed, filmed, edited and
produced a 30 second video advertisement to show where to find our Boys Grow products. We will advertise this through Youtube, Instagram, Facebook and various advertisement resources.

Audience | Target Market

Consumers aged 18 and up in the Kansas City metropolitan area.

Learning Outcomes  |  Community Impact

Through this effort, Boys Grow will increase sales and profits which will be reinvested in the program to mentor young men in the organizations mentoring program.

Next Steps

We will continue the ad campaign.

 Reflection  |  Other Info

This has helped us develop marketing, videography, video editing and graphic design skills. These skills will help us in various career paths. This project has also helped the Boys Grow program adapt to the digital marketing age.

Resource  |  Support Needs

We are not currently accepting contributions from our voters. This pitch is part of the ProX competition for $5,000.

Thank you for sharing your pitch, "John James." I appreciate your enthusiasm and passion for dogs, as well as your creative approach to promoting them. Your idea of using videos and social media to highlight the positive aspects of having dogs is a strong strategy, and it's clear you have a good understanding of your target audience. To enhance your pitch, consider focusing on how you can present a balanced view that celebrates dogs without comparing them negatively to other animals. This approach might help you reach an even wider audience who appreciate all pets. Additionally, think about how you could use storytelling to capture the unique qualities of dogs that have personally impacted your life. Keep up the great work, and continue sharing your love for dogs with the world!

Cats are amazing animals! Next time, try and edit the "um"'s and "uh"s out to make the video flow a little smoother. Great job!
