ProX is a Real World Learning initiative providing summer professional experiences for high school students.
About
Our employer is Sporting KC. They are a professional soccer team in Kansas City that brings professional sports to our community and brings all of us together.
Part 1:
How do you maintain support for a team?
Part 2:
We created a mini-game that is set up around the stadium that would get the people that are there more involved.
Part 3:
Sporting KC and the community are being affected, because the players don't have the atmosphere and because the games aren't as fun, and people don't end up going to them.
Part 4:
We would bring more people to the games and that would make the players and community a lot happier.
Next Steps
We would need Sporting to approve it, then we would just need space and funding.
Other Information
We have become a lot better with talking/communicating with employers, We have also become more comfortable with doing research and asking questions.
Resource | Support Needs
We are not currently accepting contributions from our voters. This pitch is part of the ProX competition for $5,000. We would use the funding to set everything up, then that would pay itself out fairly quickly. After that, we would send that money to the Victory Project (which is something Sporting KC does).
