Competition Brief

ProX is a Real World Learning initiative providing summer professional experiences for high school students.

About Us

Shop Local KC is an organization where artists sell their items in one store and everything is locally and handmade by each individual. A significant portion of sales stay in the community going toward roadwork, schools, new building etc.

Problem

The problem is limited brand awareness because the lack of social media presence limits attention and impacts businesses and the local economy.

Solution

We will be spreading awareness by advertising on social media platforms, radio stations, billboards, etc.

Target Market

Our target audience are people who live in the Kansas City area who would like to contribute to their community.

Societal Impact

Our solution will help people learn the importance of shopping local and, with them buying our products, putting more money into their community.

Next Steps

With our idea we would be bringing in more customers and more money for the community so we can have nicer things in Kansas City, like new restaurants and local parks. We could donate to charities and pet centers.

Our Schools and Districts

I have learned how to communicate better with the people around me and with my employer and learned how to ask the right questions to ensure the right answer.

Use of Backer Contributions

We are not currently accepting contributions from our voters. This pitch is part of the ProX competition for $5,000. All of it will be going back into to community.
