ProX is a Real World Learning initiative providing summer professional experiences for high school students.
About
The problem is lack of awareness and accessibility to the arts for local high school students. Our solution involves three approaches: 1) free ArtsConnect merchandise (apparel, stickers, art supplies, etc.) designed by local artists and distributed at area high school assemblies and dances as well as community festivals and events with a QR code to a linktree; 2) the linktree will provide access to the ArtsConnect application form, the ArtsKCGo online calendar, and ArtsKC social media links; and 3) engaging and teen-focused TikTok updates. These three approaches will create greater awareness of ArtsKC in the target audience and increase participation in the KC arts community. Our main audience is local high school students. The next steps needed are funding and dedicated time.
