Welcome to the SMSD Student Chamber's Business Showcase! This is an inspiring business competition designed to highlight PK-12 students who run REAL businesses in the Shawnee Mission School District. The top five business owners with the most votes and highest judge ratings will present their business ideas to a panel of esteemed judges and a vibrant audience on April 30.
Awards at the live April 30 Business Showcase are:
1st Place: $1,100
2nd Place: $600
3rd Place: $300

About
We created Jesus is our Pixie Dust to spread faith through faith-based items, have more affordable clothing for people, and we want to make apparel where everyone feels comfortable and happy.
Part 1:
The main problems we noticed were that many people want to support small faith-based businesses but find it hard to do so due to the high prices of the clothing. They also might feel that a lot of the businesses are repetitive and have very similar clothing.
Part 2:
Our solution was to aim to offer affordable, stylish, faith-based apparel to those who want to support small businesses. We also aim to be different than other Christian businesses to give people more variety.

Our main demographic is the ages 13-30, Gen-z, Millenials, and Gen-Alpha

Next Steps
Our next steps are to start making the clothing and selling on the website.
