The NextPitch Demo Ideas Competition is a shared demo space for educators, partners, and community connectors to submit and explore ideas for how NextPitch can be used in real classrooms, programs, organizations, and communities. Instead of pitching student ideas, participants pitch use cases—creative ways to run competitions, engage partners, structure feedback, use tokens, raise funds, or design real-world learning experiences on the NextPitch platform. Welcome to the SMSD Student Chamber's Business Showcase! This is an inspiring business competition designed to highlight PK-12 students who run REAL businesses in the Shawnee Mission School District. The top five business owners with the most votes and highest judge ratings will present their business ideas to a panel of esteemed judges and a vibrant audience on April 30. Over the past five weeks, ProX Participants have worked with one of our 120+ employers to solve real-world problems within their company or industry. Enterprise and Design is a program where students get regular high school credits but are earning it through client connected projects. We match them with industry professionals (clients) and they work with teams to complete real world projects with actual problems that those clients need to have solved and they come up with solutions and pitch those ideas.

At Emmanuel, we are committed to providing outstanding early childcare services in a safe, loving, and educational environment for children in poverty through empowering their families through advocacy, emergency aid, and education. This summer program provides children with the opportunity to continue their learning and growth, while also having fun and making new friends. The enrichment program is designed to be both educational and entertaining. Children will participate in a variety of activities and classes, including STEM/robotics, and art.

Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. Traditionally Juneteenth is known as a cultural event that celebrates the emancipation of slaves in America in 1865. Brought to Kansas City in 1980 by Horace M Peterson III, founder of the Black Archives of Mid-America INC, Juneteenth is an annual heritage celebration and platform that celebrates the emancipation of enslaved Africans in America and provides the backdrop to pay tribute to the founders of our community.
